THIS LINE OF CONTROL: INDIA AND PAKISTAN'S PROTRACTED CONFLICT

Since the partition of British India in 1947, India and Pakistan have been locked in a complex territorial dispute over the Line of Control (LoC). This precarious demarcation line, which runs through the disputed territory of Kashmir, has become a symbol of the two nations' perpetual conflict.
